Standing.io (“the Service”) is a document formatting tool. The Service takes clinical parameters provided exclusively by the subscribing Medical Director and formats them into a professionally structured protocol book document. Standing.io does not provide medical advice, does not recommend treatments, does not modify clinical content, and does not practice medicine. The Service is a formatting and document generation tool only.
All clinical content â including but not limited to medication selections, dosages, routes of administration, frequencies, indications, contraindications, and discontinuation criteria â is provided exclusively by the Medical Director or their authorized designee. The Medical Director is solely responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and clinical validity of all protocol content. The Medical Director must review all generated protocol text before approving it for clinical use. Standing.io accepts no responsibility for the clinical accuracy of the content.
The Service uses artificial intelligence (AI) to format physician-provided clinical parameters into professional protocol language. The AI formatting system is constrained to restructuring and presenting the physician’s provided data â it does not generate new clinical recommendations, add medications, modify dosages, or create clinical content. Automated safeguards (including abbreviation detection, value preservation checks, and negation detection) flag potential discrepancies for physician review. These safeguards assist but do not replace the Medical Director’s review obligation.
The Medical Director agrees to review all generated protocol content before approving it for clinical use. Protocol books are generated in “Draft” status and require explicit Medical Director approval before they are considered final. The Medical Director’s electronic approval constitutes their attestation that all clinical content has been reviewed, is accurate, and is appropriate for use at their clinic. No protocol book should be used for clinical purposes until it has been reviewed and approved by the Medical Director.
Standing.io provides the Service “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Standing.io shall not be liable for any clinical outcomes, adverse events, regulatory actions, or damages arising from the use of protocol books generated through the Service. The Medical Director assumes all responsibility for clinical decisions made using protocol books generated by the Service. Standing.io’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific protocol book in question.
The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring that all protocols comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including scope of practice requirements for all practitioners operating under these protocols. Standing.io does not guarantee regulatory compliance and does not provide legal advice. The Service does not store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA â no patient data is collected or involved in the protocol generation process.
